Ms. Spears has worked at the firm since 2006 and has experience in civil and commercial litigation, construction defects and insurance defense in addition to her bankruptcy practice. She began her legal career in Cleveland, Ohio as a legal secretary in 1976 working in a medium size law firm specializing in tax law. In 1979, Ms. Spears left her legal career to raise her two daughters. In 1989, Ms. Spears re-entered the legal field here in Phoenix working as a paralegal for a sole practitioner specializing in employment law. In 1997, Ms. Spears graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelors of science in politics. In 2001, Ms. Spears graduated from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Prior to joining the firm as an attorney, Ms. Spears worked for the firm as a litigation paralegal.
