Biography
Scott Rowley joined the firm in June 2011 and he is focusing his legal practice in the areas of divorce and family law in Arizona, criminal defense law in Arizona, and personal injury law in Arizona.
Before joining Rowley Chapman Barney & Buntrock, Mr. Rowley worked for law firms in Ohio and Texas. He has worked in a broad array of practice areas including personal injury, criminal defense, finance, commercial litigation, commercial real estate transactions, eminent domain litigation, and pharmaceutical patent disputes.
In law school Mr. Rowley was Associate Editor of The Journal on Dispute Resolution, the number one journal in its field and the American Bar Association's official journal on the subject. In this capacity he gained an in-depth perspective on the emerging area of alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration, mediation, and negotiation.
Prior to law school Mr. Rowley worked for several years in commercial real estate appraisal. During these years, Mr. Rowley gained a wide understanding of various industries and a unique perspective on Arizona's economy and geography.
In his spare time Mr. Rowley enjoys traveling, mountain biking, jogging, photography, cooking, scuba diving, and reading.
